The key ingredients to developing and maintaining Fitness fall into two basic categories: Education and Participation.

Fitness = Education

  • Get a consultation/evaluation: acknowledge where you are from a fitness standpoint and know what you need to do in order to achieve what you want.
  • Learn how to perform and perfect exercise techniques.
  • Learn how to prevent injuries/rehabilitate existing injuries.
  • Maximize training efficiency by utilizing appropriate training intensities, preferred heart rate zones, and superior exercise selections.
  • Speed up progress by incorporating proper nutrition, stress management, and recovery that is specific to your metabolism

Fitness = Participation

  • Commit to yourself, your Personal Trainer, and/or anyone that can enhance your adherence to your training schedule.
  • Create a healthy mindset that is conducive towards maintaining your goals.
  • Work with intensity and integrity during every Training Session.
  • Fuel your body with healthy nutrition.
  • Never quit on yourself.

Ultimately, your education will motivate you because you know, beyond reasonable doubt, that what you are doing is appropriately suited to your needs, and will make a difference in your life. Naturally, your motivation will drive your participation.

So, in summary… Educate.  Motivate.  Participate.
